the first hotspot

Before the days of laptops and wi-fi, there was Stanford Research Institute's SRI van, allowing hard working geeks to go out and get trashed at south bay alcophile landmark Rossotti's whilst hacking away over packet radio... once again proving that just about all of today's modern computing paradigms were invented/developed in Palo Alto in the 1970's. Hmmm... PARC... SRI... I should just change my job title to computer historian. One small quibble: SRI is Menlo Park - don't be giving all the props out to those Paly fools.
